I honestly think you have a problem with people having a good time. Some people try to gain self validation through a baseball team. I'm guessing you are one of those people. Then there are people who gain enjoyment from watching the team, going to the games (specifically getting drunk with friends, fine girls, admiring the talent on both teams, etc), and generally enjoying the team as an avenue of entertainment. I consider myself one of those people. Your little crusade against a seemingly harmless song because it simply annoys you shows your true colors. Maybe find a new hobby? You clearly have too much time on your hands. Your life, though.

Yeah, apparently. It's sad, really, as this is not normal adult behavior. I don't think anybody loves the song, honestly, but everybody seems to have a good time singing it like a bunch of drunk buffoons. What's so wrong with that? Lighten up a little. Will I sing it? Highly unlikely. But it's completely harmless. And if I wanted to enact change, I wouldn't post the same thing over and over in the same thread on the Chicago Cubs message board. <Wtf is wrong with some of these people?

I just come from the old school I guess back in 1969 before you were born was the Cub Team of Teams..Jack Brickhouse...not Harry White Sox Carey...was our announcer..when the Cubs hit a HR he would say "hey hey"...we had a Cubs toon as well...hey hey no doubt about it...remember that?
