Religions have done huge harm and huge good. You can ignore one of those if you choose, but you're wrong.

I'm not sure that Stalin, who was an atheist, was a picture of how we think all atheists should be painted. Right? Gandhi was a devout Hindu. Who would you rather your children emulate? It doesn't make atheism "wrong" (although I think differently) and it doesn't make Hinduism "right" (although again, I think differently).

You don't have to be religious or anti-religion to do huge harm. And you don't have to be religious or anti-religion to do great good. It's up to you.

Easily, I probably could get about 400. I'm kind of involved in my community a lot and have a lot of networks, one email is all it would take. Atheists can be part of a bigger community too!

Which people? I am not an atheist. I do not even pretend to know the mysteries of the universe. Nor am I ready to accept any of the specific dogma I have heard from existing sects. The Flying Spaghetti Monster is just as compelling as any version I have heard so far, and much tastier!
