Does this mean Justin Verlander isn't a ace when he lost game 1 of the 2011 ALCS?

Does this mean Roy Halladay isn't a ace when he lost game 5 of the 2011 NLDS?

Please explain.

you guys dont got the point.

Verlander vs Sabathia.
Halladay vs Sabathia.
Haren vs Sabathia.
Weaver vs Sabathia.

And so on, for some reason he looks overmatched on those matches.

Very sad, hat conidering how young Nova, is and how well composed he is. When is pitching, I can't hardly even watch the game, If he gets to the 3rd or4th inning you are just waiting for the Burnett blowupm cuz he doesn't have a put away pitch.

You can't be a Yankee's fan as you can't spell. And good buy as you are blocked you idiot. If he's a stud, just look at his starts last year and this year.

You have some nice points. Unfortunately though, your poor sentence structure and occasional spelling mishaps void said nice points.

But Phil is a bum, yes he is.

I do have to agree with you that my spelling is not the best, and I believe we all make spelling mistakes when typing on the internet. And I actually admit that I flunked english when I was a junior in High School. But on the same note, and not being very well educated, only high school. I have invested my money wisely, worked for the same company in sales for 29 years, 32 years ago a friend of mine and I bought some land, 346.8 acres to be exact for $780 per acre, and just recently sold 246.8 acres for $7000 per acre, which is a fair profit, we sold it to my partners sons, as long as they left it as it is, a beautiful untouched hunting and game preserve. I live in South Dakota, so we had to keep 50 acres each, so we still get our Buck license each year, without applying. So I guess I really don't mind some constructive correctness now and then. And if you don't believe me, and you know bomber7, he will be happy to confirm this with you. But I am glad that you think of Phill Hughes as I do. It just seems to me that Giradi is willing to hang onto pitchers longer than he should, and Burnett it a good example. Have a nice day.

thanks Sandy and yes you are a great friend - I'm glad we have become friends - and yes Phil is a bum this year - not sure if he can get whatever the problem is corrected but I hope Andy gets up here fast cause I'm not sure I can stomach another one of his starts. Thank God they made the decision to move Freddy to the pen - but in my opinion Freddy should be DFA - all he is doing is taking up a spot on the team. What's he out in the pen for anyway to come into a 7-0 game and make 14-0 within a matter of minutes. He just needs to be sent packing.

Maybe I should have worded it differently, but he is what he is, and I checked the schedule and he is scheduled for another start, why I don't know. I'm glad you reported that guy that said blank you Hughes is a stud. And then I get another reply from a guy that must be an English teacher or something. He said that he liked my posts, but I mispelled a lot of words, and that I should work on my sentancing structure. When I explainded to him about my fincancial status, that I had worked for the same company for almost 29 years, and just sold the land that Omar and I had purchased 32 years ago for $780 and sold 246.6 acres for $7000 per acre I never did hear back from him. I even told him if he knew bomber7 that he would verify it. I even told him I flunked english when I was a junior, and only had a 12th grade education. And that is the TOTAL TRUTH. I wished him a nice day, and hoped that we could visit again, and I meant it.

Sandy, we don't need English majors here we need people who KNOW baseball and you certainly qualify as one of those. So you just keep on keeping on my friend.

Thank you my friend, and I agree that every now and then we get one of those you now who, that browses the board, and then you never see them again, and I agree that this is a place for people who know baseball, sadly though it's getting to full of the other kind, and I guess that's why I don't spend as much time here as I used to. Thanks for the compliment, and the same back at you. Hope things are well with you and your family.
