The Sikh faith should not embrace peace but violence and they would have been strapped then

I just read that they are looking for a person of interest because he has a 9/11 tattoo as well and was taking pictures of media, friends, and relatives that were gathered in the parking lot at the temple.

Surprise <fucking surprise. Discharged from the armed services for misconduct? Perfect.

America is sure making their diversity known between crazy dumbass bigots and mentally unstable social misfits.

Sure, stricter gun control wont stop all of this, but at least don't make it easy for these monsters to get their hands on them.

Yea especially when you read something like this:

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a group that has studied hate crimes for decades, reported Monday that Page was a frustrated neo-Na..zi who had been the leader of a racist white-power band known as End Apathy.

Heidi Beirich, director of the center's intelligence project, said her group had been tracking Page since 2000, when he tried to purchase goods from the National Alliance, a well-known hate group.

But I guess he had never been convicted of a violent crime so he was able to have access.

I'd say a dishonorable discharge is good enough. That just gives a person with training enough of a reason to retaliate.

Hope they catch that camera guy. Who knows how many pictures he took and who is in them? Targets for him and his comrades I assume.

I want to say, even as an atheist, if I lived in Oak Creek, I would seriously go to the Sikh Temple on Sunday.

I was reading about their religion. I like it. They don't really have a he...ll, they seem to be accepting of all religions, are very peaceful, just saying, unfortunate this group out of any had to be attacked.

One thing I have noticed though is I don't think people talk about this shooting as much because of they see them as a different culture.

That and I think people are burned out on this stuff since the Colorado shooting was less than a month ago. Also, the circumstances around the randomness of the movie shooting is far more strange than this shooting, sad but true. Finally, what you said. I think people are just as appalled by this but Sikhs aren't "us" so it's getting less coverage. Again, sad but true.

And I'm with Borg, I'm Catholic but I'd have no problem attending next Sunday's service. I like how the religious community has come together on this shooting. It not only sends the right message about peace and loving one another, but it shows how religion should be thought of; caring and accepting, not hateful and bigoted.

Westboro Baptist also had to remind us how stupid and hateful they really are. One of them tweeted that God sent another shooter.

Apparently that person needs to read the Bible. Apparently, a lot of people need to read the Bible.

"Thou shalt not kill." I don't think God could have made it any clearer.

Yes I think that Onion article stated it perfectly. I don't understand how people like the Westboro Baptist church can twist things so much to justify all of their stupid antics. But yeah all religions are coming together over this, and why not they seemed to be nothing but peaceful and an asset to that community according to the congressman representing them.

I try to be open minded and all for freedom of religion, but those Phelps freaks at Westboro Baptist are just messed up.

My sister called me last night to tell me that my nephew and his friends, who will all be in 6th grade, had a gun pulled on them by a 14 year old. It happened to be a very realistic beebee gun, but the kid actually pulled the trigger when held to one of my nephews friends!!!! It was empty, but what if? Then the kid threatened them with a 30 30.

Cops called, statements given, and a punk 14 year old is awaiting word from the county. Here's the word: JUVI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's also threatened people in the past. Thankfully, the doosh bag kid's mom is standing for him and apologizing for his actions, like that's supposed to help.

I suggested that my sister and the other mom's call the school district too. This little pyscho nut job shouldn't be allowed anywhere near them for years.
