Hey, guys! No of course I didn't get tired of this group.

Around the first of the year I mentioned something on here in another thread about my mom having to go to the emergency room with pneumonia. We never thought it could be something else, but it turned out to be much worse. It was January 17th when she suffered a blood stroke caused by a tumor that had metastasized in her brain from the cancer in her lung (yes, our local ER which has a terrible reputation diagnosed her lung shading as pneumonia and this happened before her follow-up with our family doctor). Since then she's of course had the tumor removed and just got done with full brain radiation. She's tough and hanging in but the outlook right now's hard to think about.

Just wanted to let you guys know because as far as message board homies go, this thread has most of mine. :) Things are settling in a bit more now (oh, there was also a move to a new house mixed in), so I should be popping in here more. Good win for the Hawks tonight, one of the better games they've played in a while. Now to get one of those rare visiting team wins at the Joe.

Godspeed to your mother Jen. I think I speak for alot of us when I say, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Is that octopus shiaaat? No Lidstrom, Datsyuk or Erickson for the Dead Wings and no Toews, Hammer and Monty. Wings are very tough at home but the Hawks can take them especially if they play like they did in Ottawa. It's Razors crease to win so keep up the great tending Emery.

On direct TV it's on NHL channel 215 and 663. I could give you a couple links to stream it if you'd like.

I thought the Hawks played pretty decent and got some help from the pipes on a couple shots. Howard is gone and the Wings back up goalie is in. I wonder what happened.
