Who cares if it was sold out with dodger fans? It is Dodger stadium! It should be dodgers fans and any added Giants fans no matter how few is a plus.

Monday night had 36,000 paid and tonight will be around that I would think.

That's pretty sad that they can't sell out a homestand against a hated division rival in the midst of a pennant race.

I wasn't saying Brian Stowe was rude or anything remotely to do with that. I was just saying we cheered the Giants. We didn't start any Let's Go Giants Let's Go cheers or whatever. When you do that things can get dicey in the Latrine. You can get away with that in San Diego and Anaheim. The Angels regularly have Yankee and Red Sox fans attempt to take over their park so they're used to it.

It's their own fault with all the violence and other BS from the McCourt years. Even the locals don't want to go unless you bribe them with something free. Back 10 years ago they were amoung the league leaders in attendence. So now they've sunk to 30,000 even if they're in first place. That's a disgrace.

I bet it will be 36K tonight. The only reason it sold out was for a freakin bobblehead promo.

That is the most imaginative chant they can come up with there. They use it for all the visiting teams.

I have a son that lives in SD and I go all the time,, its 100 times better than anything in LA area or within 50 miles of there stadium, thats why.. I attend a ball game in SD everytime I visit,,(6 or 7 times a year) and I have loved every time I went to the ball park,, when Giants are not playing SD there are just a few Giants gear fans there,, its a great vacation spot and everytime the Giants play in SD plane loads get a package deal and spend the weekend there... I wear my Giants hat around town and have never had a problem,, even had people come up and tell me how lucky I am to have a guy like Posey, or Cain, or Pablo on my team..

You will never get that treatment anywhere around LA,, except maybe the Angles park which I have been to several times, but away from there its not any good.. period!!!

You guys don't really honestly believe that all Dodger fans are gangsters do you? For a fan base that considers yourselves to be so "civil" and "educated", that seems pretty narrow minded. And what about outside your stadium @ Candlestick or whatever it's called these days, Raider fan strikes again and shoots a 49er fan! I know San Francisco doesn't claim the Raiders but, my point is that it happened in your back yard! I know for a fact every Dodger fan that I know and have ever talked to is saddened and embarrassed by what happened to Mr. Stowe. Can we really call the two that attacked Stowe Dodgers fans? They looked to me like a couple of gangsters in LA gear and were obviously looking for trouble. There should have been more security and they should have been identified as "looking for trouble" and told to get in their car and exit the parking lot. There was not. The sad fact of it is that Frank McCourt was pinching pennies wherever and however he could. It was the final straw for Dodgers fans and the attendance last year was the lowest in over a decade. McCourt is gone, forced to sell by the lack of support and it's a new regime in LA. Renovations are under way and I don't believe security to be an issue now. I would like to strongly urge Giant fans to go to Dodger stadium for this rival. ESPN can try to cram NY/Bos down everyones throat but, it's a pretty one sided rivalry. Giants/Dodgers is the best rivalry in baseball and possibly sports. I look forward to a very exciting race these last 5 weeks and hope to see Dodger stadium packed tonight and every other Giants/Dodgers game.

That's sad that you feel you can't wear your Giants gear to the game. I know I'm on here to stir the pot for the series but, fan safety at the game isn't something to joke about. I live in San Francisco and wouldn't want to have to worry about me or my GFs safety at the phone booth. Your right, at the end of the day it's just a game and everyone wants to go home safe to their loved ones. Good luck to you tonight CY, I hope the Dodgers fans are civil to you and don't embarrass me tonight.
