Will somebody tell me how taxing the rich more than they are taxed will help the poor be less poor? Obama is using the usual battle cry of class warfare, which the demos have been using for many years. The top 1% earners pay 38% of the Fed income tax. The bottom 50% earners pay no FIC. I hope that Romney brings this out in his campaign. Obama, the disaster, must be defeated.

"It's called paying down the national debt."

More like slowing its accumulation?

Taxing the 1% earners more would result in about 4 billion a year. With a 4 trillion dollar expenditure, that is about 4 days of spending.

How can anyone want to increase taxes which will be sent to Wash. and will be squandered as always. Let them rein in spending. We give foreign aid to countries that owes us money. We give foreign aid to China, which has nothing to do with the money that we owe them.

Obviously more is necessary to pay down the debt. Because it is hard, we shouldn't do it, eh?

The top 1% pay 38% of the FED IC. The bottom 50% pay 0. I think to make things fair, the bottom 50% should pay something in FED IC.
