I realize that, by your previous post, you rode the "little bus" in school, but my comment about the Astros was intended to be off-point. Much like the poster I was responding too.

Whatever, son. Just remember you are talking to the WINNER of the 2011 Annual Fan Forum Challenge.

Reds finished 79-83 last year and I called it.

Got something to say?

Bring it.

I predicted a third place finish this year with a record of 82-80.
====================================================
how's that lookin'?

you may have "predicted" that, but you have stated NUMEROUS times that the Reds would not have a winning record in 2012 with Baker at the helm.

that must mean you thought he would be fired and that they would end up squeezing out a winning record under a "new manager" huh?

meanwhile the Reds(57) are ONE WIN behind the Yankees(58) for the most wins in MLB

and 7-2 since Votto suffered the "season destroying" injury that would cause the Reds "collapse"

now why don't YOU "bring it" if you have anything to dispute those FACTS

I, for one, love Dusty, because I remember the decade when we had Bob Boone, Jerry Narron, and Dave Miley. It's easy for you to drag Dusty through the mud from your spot on the assembly line at some random soap factory. Why don't you become a manager, win a few manager of the year trophies, and then you can talk bad about Dusty all you want. But for now, just shut up, eat your cheetos, and criticize somebody on your level. Maybe the janitor at your factory.

you should not denigrate the janitor

I love the janitor as much as the next guy, but I've never stepped foot in a factory, so I can't name certain positions within a factory. The janitor was my easy out. It was either that, or make up some crazy position that doesn't exist. Just for my blasphemy just now, today is going to be national janitor day

Ah ha! someone who has an intelligent argument. Only problem is... this is July. Where were the Cards standing in July of last year?

The Reds were in first place for most of 1987 (just to give an example). They finished the year in second place and played in no play-off games that year.

Too bad you didn't take a moment and think before you typed this response. Your latter response was actually well-stated.

As for this post.... REPORTED.

LOL! Boy he sure called that one didn't he. Still got a ways to go but I dont see 81 wins or less or do I see Dusty being fired either. Dusty could very well decide to retire and if he won the WS this year he very well could say thats enough I'm going out on top.
