Trumbos bat is bigger but callaspos bat is pretty darn good. he was tearing it up at the end of last year and all spring training. plus trumbo can DH or play outfeild, on a day i have a ground ball pitcher and have lost 2 in a row, I dont want trumbo at third base.

Thank goodness for a win. At least CJ gave us back some good starting pitching (although we could have done without the walks he gave up), great defense by Aybar, just enough hitting.

I hear what your saying and Callaspo has more positives as a hitter and defender, but Trumbo will improve and would be nice to have a prototypical 3b like Glaus was. Going to be interesting how it all plays out come trade deadline maybe. I would probably rather see Trumbo in LF and Wells gone, but until that day comes it looks like Callaspo and Trumbo platoon and Abreu and Wells platoon. I wish we could hear what the pitchers would say. Big bat or solid defense with less power numbers hitting.

There is no doubt in my mind what CJ Wilson would say after watching Aybar and Callaspo play defense today.

Glaus was a college shortstop. I think the Angels are asking way too much too soon of Trumbo defensively and it will hurt his offense.
