I knew he had gotten into trouble multiple times but had no idea it was around 14. That is crazy!

He sure should of been considering the fact he gave a guy a concussion and is not known when he will be back.

Hi,

Ron Artest has been seeking professional help for his on/off court issues!! He should be suspended indefinitely w/ a reinstatement hearing based on his counselor's recommendation to return!!

"but anyways the NBA is nothing more then thug ball anymore"

No it's not. Artest is the last of that dying breed. Once he's out of the NBA just about all of them are gone.

That said, he shoul dof gotten as many games as Harden has to miss because of the concussion, plus 10 more games IMO

Torres gets 25 games for the attack on Hossa, which still wasn't enough, IMO. And this clown only gets 7 for a very obvious, deliberate elbow to the head of Harden. Stern is a wuss as is the NBA. IF that elbow had hit in just the right spot, Harden may now be in a coma. That chump should be banned for at least a full season, without pay.

Just read this quote from Artest. He still does not admit he hit him intentionally. For that he should be suspended a very very long time.

“On that play, I just dunked on Durant and Ibaka, and I got really emotional, really excited. And it was unfortunate that James had to get hit with the unintentional elbow. I hope he’s OK. The Thunder, they’re playing for a championship this year. So I really hope he’s OK, and I apologize to the Thunder and to James Harden. Such a great game, and it was unfortunate so much emotion was going on at that time.”

I agree with most of these posts. The dude should have been banned from the NBA a long time ago, but, let's face it, many NBA teams consists of a bunch of thugs that would be on street corners if they couldn't play this game. To me, it's a boring sport and I don't get why there is so much support from fans. You can watch guys play harder at many Chicago parks.

The majority of sports reporters think that's enough. Their arguments suggest Artest plays basketball well, so he should be allowed to throw an elbow. Their arguments suggest it's the fans' fault for enjoying basketball.

Where do you live? Here in Chicago most sports reporters paper, tv and radio think he is a thug and wanted him suspended more games.

So true. It's more like a tattoo contest, than a basketball game.
