Bill Simmons has me convinced it's a good idea. Listen to yesterdays podcast. The Raptors discussion begins around the 34 minute mark. Has me high on last years number 1.... then goes into a pretty entertaining bit on Steve Nash. Really funny.

With or without Nash, the Raptors have little chance to be truly bad and pick up a franchise changing 1-2 lottery pick. Without Nash, next year, they are probably making a run at the playoffs. The East is awful.

Why they didn't tank more this year is beyond me.
