Martinez. Altuve is the hot pick because he's fun to cheer for, but 10-15 years from now, I get the feeling we'll look back and Martinez will have been the better player of the two of them. Do like Altuve though.

Its hard to say our of the Big 3 who is my favorite... But to keep the Zombies away, I will take Jimmy Paredes. I just think wow this kid is not even ready to be here and he is doing a good job. If he keeps growing, adjusting, he could be the Astros 3b for the next 10 years+..

To expand on the question, which pitcher did the Astros recieve out of all the trades do you think or have a feeling that will have the best career in Houston? My vote is Paul Clemens... Cosart may be the top prospect, but Clemens just seems to have it all together, less raw, and chances are more likely to deliever.

Jim Crane - at least I can be fairly certain he'll still be here next year at the break.

JD Martinez, saw star potential in him in the many CC games I've seen.

I like JDM too, but Altuve is just too fun to watch, and I love his hustle. I have to admit, my wife and I laughed out loud last night when he was stealing 2nd. Funniest thing I'd seen in a while.

I never thought I'd say it, but I guess Junction Jack is now my favorite Astro. I don't really know any others. He certainlt has the seniority.

But he's not "official" yet.

So if Hop gets to say Crane, I'm going with my REAL answer. Anyone NOT named Carlos Lee. ( I was afraid I'd get yelled at because this is a group answer)

I'll got out on limb here and say Paredes. He's really raw right now, but he's done well considering nobody expected anything out of him. I don't know if he'll ever amount to anything, but he's the kind of guy you want to root for...

Not to dmaper the spirit, but I hope new ownership gets rid of Jack the train theme, and the uniforms. I would like to see the Astros go long the lines of what the Wizards did in basketball. They brought back the old Bullets jersey, but gave it a modern feel. The Astros should do the same, modernize the late 80's early 90's jersey, and close the star. Maybe the Rockets could do the same, get rid of that ulgy toyota, halo, reject logo and bring back the old red and yellow, just modernize it..

The train theme has always fit since MMP is a renovated, and added on to train station. The main concourse is the original width, making it the widest concourse of all MLB parks. So the train connections keep the history of the original bldg tied to the new park.

Understood.. But it seems like the current old ownership has completely thrown away the real history of the Astros and what they are or were. You can bet the new ownership will change the Uni's and logo as this is a great way to make money. Lets hope they do it right. Drayton changed it when he took over, and the mid late 90's uni were ok logo was not that good. The unis Bagwell and Biggio wore when they broke in are classic, I would like for them to go that route.

I agree, I'd have to go with Paredes too. As raw as he is, he has all of the tools to succeed. And just looking at him, you can tell he has a chance to be special. The guy is a physical specimen.
