I actually do like them hitting, they are professional athletes. However, I understand that some pitchers, Sheets, just can't hit, but getting hurt while running? That's just dumb, but it can happen to anyone. Heck, Ryan Howard tore his Achilles swinging a bat.

Kinda woulda thunk you would have grown up just a tiny bit here over the last year or so... guess that was asking a little much. Of course, I do have the option of putting you on ignore... but it is much more entertaining watching you babble all over your self trying to build up your self confidence by making little smart remarks to other members of the board. Look at it this way... they got 6 runs on just 2 hits... that in itself is a nice step in the right direction right now for this team. You never know... they might be waking up.

It's not the strategy at all, it's just the fact that they are professional athletes. You could comeback and say that in football that players don't play both ways today so what's the big deal about having a DH in the NL? My answer is I like seeing the pitchers hit, it amuses me.
