I'm not so sure I agree with that. For some reason it seems like no matter what either teams' record is, when we play the A's it is always a dogfight and we seem to lose more than we win. The actual record may show I'm wrong, but it just seems that way to me.

<<< I have forgotten more baseball than you know.>>>

I think we all know how much baseball you've forgotten. Obviously, all of it. That is, what little you knew to start with.

Tell us all again why we needed to sign Oswalt.

Don't forget that he had no idea who Martin Perez was, so he "must not have been very good."

And also, he coached Kent State to a College World Series some year (and yet, somehow history shows Kent State wasn't even in the CWS that year).

Conspiracies!

One would need to keep a journal of all his "baseball knowledge" so as not to forget something.

The A's rely on a lot of young pitchers (other than Colon) and will be reaching their highs in pitches thrown in a season so they are more likely to wear down than those of the Angels. Plus all of the Angel pitchers have playoff experience.

Yeah, it's really sad. 17 more innings and his colon goes semi.

Oswalt, whom you touted as the savior of the Ranger's STARTING rotation, cannot go 2-3 innings? Does that show you what you know about baseball? Nothing!

<<<I said they should sign him and I stick by that.>>> <<<Oswalt has gone 2 innings....and very effectively at least twice.>>>

Oh, that's great qualifications for a STARTER, which you stick by. Great qualifications. He's pathetic now and he was pathetic when signed and you were all over the board talking about how we HAD to have Oswalt and how smart you were to predict it. How he's pitched here proves how smart you are and how much you know about baseball. Enough said about your man-crush on Oswalt. Proves you know NOTHING.

When you talk to a clown you have to realize that everything you hear is supposed to be funny.
