Oh man. Thanks for the reminder. I actually had forgotten that.

We look slower, weaker, older than the Mariners.

When is Lugubrious Lloyd going to start getting everyone on the same page to hit line drives? This looks like Raid Stadium - a place for flyouts.

Don't you mean possible BUM south-sided AL Central champs ???

<Soxx>

Lost a toughie today (scored two in top 14, gave up three in the bottom to Oakland) Let's see what they are made of now. If Chicago goes on something like 7 of 9 from here, they ain't going away all year.

The Tigers just have to hang around until VMart comes back. Then we'll git 'em.

No Ozzie=better TEAM

How much better remains to be seen.

The way we're playing now, better than us.

Until Vmart comes back? That is most likely 2012.

I like your other ideas, play Dirks/Worth, cut Inge, sit Raburn.

Ok, Felix is out. Here comes the "pad the stats" 2 or 3 runs in the next two innings. Then Rod can talk about how the offense is really good and just scuffling a bit.

Anybody remember when Detroit got swept by Seattle last year? ( at Comerica?)

I think it was about this time of the year, they had just swept the ChiSox and gotten over .500, then lost the 3 to Seattle, and i think 3 or 4 more in a row. At that point, Leyland was hanging on by a thread.

This is where the Tigers score 4 runs this inning and 5 in the bottom of the ninth to win it!!

Right?

"Remember when Bobby Boucher showed up at halftime and the Mud Dogs won the Bourbon Bowl? Do ya?"

Yes, it was April 26, 27 and 28.

Detroit was outscored 24 to 6.

Ummmmmmm,

NO.

But they will get a couple of garbage (like garbage time points in basketball, or getting a TD when down 35-3 late in the 4th qtr) runs. Just to bolster the stats.

Here they go, the middle of the order that is struggling will get some garbage runs to make the final score 9-3 or 9-4.
