No but I'm upset that he gave up 4 runs so far in the 1st inning.

I'm more upset Pierzynski didn't make the ASG.

Nice to see Verlander get rocked in the 1st. He Has thrown a lot if pitches so far. I hope he can continue his ASG success into the 2nd half of the season.

The PussyCats were relying on Zoolander to be his 2011 Cy Young self here in 2012. I'm not seeing it tonight. By the way, historically, there have been periods of time were the White Sox pwned Zoolander. I'm talking 2-9 pwned.

Yeah, he's pwned us recently but........

Also, Verlander wasn't a hands down selection as all this analysts said. Part of what I wanted to say. It's like they didn't even acknowledge Sale or Weaver

Based on Washington's decision to put in HIS FRIKKIN' CLOSER in in the 2nd inning? Who knows if Sale will even get an appearance tonight?

I didn't say Verlander was. There wasn't an easy choice, but to say that Sale or Weaver were ignored is simply inaccurate. They are at the all star game. That in and of itself is acknowledgement.

Washington putting all his Ranger pitchers in. By the time Sale pitches, it'll be 12-0 Nationals.

the only reason that the NL is winning is Tony LaRussa. Pure genius.

Did Harrison start the inning against a bunch of right handers? or is it just me? Pretty stupid to not put Weaver out there considering he was warming up right along with him.

Yeah, Matt Harrison seems like a "just in case" guy, not the 3rd pitcher of the night. I guess when you're manager you can do as you please.

Verlander has forty more innings with better peripherals than Weaver. I don't think Weaver's ERA advantage even puts him over Sale, and I definitely think Verlander deserved it more than Sale.

I think Nathan was put in for the second because he had already been warming up in case he had to come in for Verlander, so that made sense.

If Washington wanted to burn out all of his own pitching, fine by me.
