Sure! It's not like Detroit has anything else important going on. Everything else is pretty much just on cruise control now.

I pay money to the tigers which they then use part of to pay city taxes.

Do I get a say?

+1000

Wasn't looking to start an argument. Just thought it was kinda cool some people take time out of their lives to maintain the area out of respect for what was once there and I wasn't aware that it opened the exact same day as fenway.

<<Do you buy Cake and Ice Cream? Besides he wasn't born then. Christians choose that date to conflict with a Pagan holiday to force people into the accepted religion.>>

Nope. We just give each other gifts. Families get together and have a good time, and all that. It's not a birthday party though. I would have to agree with you on this. While we recognize these birthdays, we don't tend to celebrate them with a birthday party.

I agree that that date of 12/25 was chosen, not so much as to conflict, but overtake, the pagan holiday. As no one is positive of the date, people often think that it is the correct day. It isn't. I lean more towards somewhere between September/October.
