Dang. Should have known it was Scioscia all along. How do you put up with that guy?

Weaver 15-1. If only Scioscia could get the Angels to play.500 ball when Weavers not pitching. Not really that much to ask for.

And if Scioscia was the tyrant you have proclaimed him to be, Weaver would have signed with another team.

Yes, you're right... if only Scioscia wouldn't tell his guys to dog it when Weave's not pitching we would have a much better record.

Even you could win as a manager, when Weaver is pitching. That's not saying much, I would like the Angels to Win , I'm tired of Scioscia's excuses. He never puts the blame on himself.

< Well, he did decline to pitch a 3rd inning so, I don't think it's a writer trying to stir things up. >

The majority of pitchers don't want to be removed from the game. Obviously, Oswalt is one of those that simply doesn't care. I'm not sure I would rely on a person like that to come through when the chips are down.

" That's not saying much..."

You're absolutely right, bob... as with most everything you write.

>>Or is that college level courses in california? <<

Wow, that stands on its own for someone who calls out someone else's use of grammar. Let me fix it for you.

"Is that a college level course in California." ==== Reads better to me.

It was punctuation. But I get it. The comprehension problem in california is the whole reason behind this thread to begin with.

Weaver wants to play for the Angels to stay by his family & he likes the weather. I don't think Scioscia much matters to his decision to stay, nor does other teams offers to pay him more money to leave the Angels. He likes playing in Anaheim & is never leaving, he's said so himself.

I thought it had to do with the Rangers signing a Prima Donna pitcher that has a career that is pretty much over.

See? This is what I'm talking about. You read wrong information and run with it like it's fact. Maybe it's ADD, and the epidemic is larger in california than recorded.
