Pens move to 6-1-0 with 12 points on the season, with an amazing 5-0 record on the road.

Go Pens!!!

If they keep this pace up, I should win this poll with ease. I would give up the win for another victory parade!!

Let me tell you a little story.
Last year, days before the Pens went on their tear, my father-in-law bought my wife (a huge Pens fan) a license plate for her 2003 Cavalier. After they began their run to the Stanley Cup, my father-in-law decided that the license plate was the reason for their success. So now, after a deer-vs-car accident, a winter storm ditching, & abuse from a tow truck driver, the plate looks like a West Virginia smile. My daughter is turning 18 and this car is to become hers, but my wife insists that the plate remains on the car. My daughter hates hockey so she is putting up a fight. My wife says she must agree to the stipulation or no car. As the man of the house, what am I to do?

outlaw,

Don't pick sides. Allow the 2 cats to fight it out. If you choose a side you will have one mad at you.

You may wear the pants in the family but your wife tells you what color to wear.

Don't take off the plate. We want our run to continue.

You will get the Goat of the Year vote if you take it off and we tank the season.

But you are in a no-win situation though.

Bones has the right answer. Stay clear of this disagreement. Or any disagreement between your wife and daughter.

No possible good could ever come by choosing one side over the other, in any mother/daughter disagreement.

When your daughter turns 18, she legally becomes an adult. So if she wants to make the wrong decision and remove the plate, that's on her.

Tough call. I suggest a week long vacation around the birthday. Get out of the storm.
