No, you don't. They never signed him when you had your wet dreams about him, and he hasn't pitched a single inning in the majors between then and now. In fact he's pitched a grand total of 24 innings ANYWHERE since that time, 12 in each of the past 2 seasons in the minors. It would have been stupid to waste $1-2 million on him back then, just as it's totally unrealistic to think the Sox would offer him anywhere close to that now, if they even make any offer to him.
