That's my thought exactly on the Skip vs. Tyler comparison. Tyler can't hit AND apparently plays worse D at 2B than Skip...which I thought was a logical impossibility. Really anyone on here that if they had to pick now, they'd pick Greene?

I'm not trying to be down on Greene, just that he seems to want to work his way off the team when the time comes. I guess Robinson or Carp2 would go before Greene at least. I assume they want to keep Komatsu for Rule 5 reasons, right?

As far as i can remember Skip was very good until he got hurt in the playoffs.

He also won game 5 of the NLDS against Roy Haladay in the first inning last year. The guy is good no doubt about that im not sure why people hate on him so much. Other then him being pretty slow for a small guy.

That is the problem. DD is a bench player. He can play lots of positions which is a plus so we need him around, but he can't play 160 games and succeed. Greene has the talent but is missing something to keep him from being the starter. So I think Skip needs to start at 2b until Tyler steps up or we can upgrade via trade (or Wong is ready).
