Marquette could be out in the 2nd round or go to the Final Four. They've been kind of inconsistent lately. They will win at least one game though.

I should put a disclaimer. I don't care what the tournament labels each round. The first round is the round of 64, and the second round is the round of 32. The first four are play in games.

You're making them out to be a terrible team, and they're not. If they shoot the ball well they can go far, if not then yeah, they'll be an early exit. They've been playing well lately so who knows?

The 2 years I felt we truly underperformed in the tourney was 06-07 when we lost to UNLV as a 2 seed, and the following year against Davidson. If Brain Butch wasn't injured I have no doubt that we would have beaten UNLV. An NBA lotto pick just went off on us the next year, not much we could have done differently.

not to mention the fact that they nearly lost to Texas A&M Corpus Cristi in the first round, they were down double digits for a while.

I remember watching that game in my middle school classroom. It was at the end of the day on a Friday, and we were conveniently having a party because it was St. Patrick's Day or something, and they were losing like 20-4, and the Badgers were missing everything. When the Badgers finally scored we started cheering wildly in a sarcastic manner, and we got in trouble for disturbing another class.

Luckily when I was in HS, I always had tech ed at the end of the day. He always had NCAA on.
