"Against Wainwright huh? "

Sounds good. Wainwright has been off this season.

Sorry-ano is like free beer at Wrigley you can get that tomorrow.

Real question is will his OPS drop below .200? He should be under in average today.

"What team"

My thoughts exactly, win.

The main reason, besides the large contract the Cubs brought him back was because he was supposedly going to hit 20 homers and bat .240 so at least he would be somewhat productive.

Guess what? So far he isnt productive.

If I were the Cubs, I would keep him in the starting lineup til June when Jackson comes up. If he starts to hit some dingers and can stay near .240, platoon with La Hair and try to swing a deal with a contender in August or September-the Cubs will still eat a lot of contract and probably wind up with 2 Class A scrubs and a bucket of baseballs, but realistically that is the best they probably can get.

It cant continue like this.

HE!! with home runs. I would just like to see him swing at a pitch that wasn't low & waay out side.

Sure don't look like MLB all-star, by any means.

A hit with men on base would be nice.

Same for Soto.
