"How long did it take to declare Mo Vaughn a bust? "

The first time he set on wooden chair.

Mo Vaughn was the highest paid player the Angels ever had at that time, he fell into the visitors dugout on the 1st game of the season in the 1st inning in "98", & really hurt his ankle & was never the same again.
Of course this is all coming from memory, so if there's any discrepancies with that, that's why.

I'm not saying Vaughn was the same caliber player as Pujols is, I'm saying we don't have the luxury of time of a whole year to find out!

We bought a player for 10 years for who he once was, not who he is now.

But I'll gladly eat crow if he becomes consistant & produces when need be.

We need him now, not next season.

LOL! As he hits a double as I'm typing this.
I hope he keeps up the good work.

But to compare him to Pujols is absurd.
*******************************************************************************
Money wise, not so.
10 years was absurd, it's proving itself to be.

We need Albert producing consistantly now.

I've voiced my opinion, you disagree, I'm cool with that.

Have a great evening.

Do you EVEN realize why they picked up Vaughn??????????
For the stats.
That's why they purchased him.

Look, I realize you like to argue, I made my point, Pujols has been a bust so far...
I think it was a BAD signing.
BAD!
Like it, or not!

I don't like to argue brother.

I have a saying: if I have to argue with someone, I want nothing to do with them.

Albert HAS been a bust so far, I'm sorry you can't see that.
I'll keep supporting him as long as he wears the Halo though...

LOL!
I don't know about the other poster being Justin, but I'll take your word for it!

Hey man, you're last post to me brought me back to normal level!
I was seriously pissed off, I'm thinking clearly now.

I think, you're most likely correct.

L8!

We agree, it's Justin. New account the day after he was banned, sounds exactly like him, and he's beginning to start a few threads.

Most "brand new posters here" (as he claimed to be) don't start new threads for a while. He always does and starts more and more of them within a few days of first appearing.

Jumped off the Pujols wagon already, shows how little faith you have in him. Pujols is the best hitter in our generation, do you really think he won't be great as an Angel.

I agree that the adjustment period has taken a long time. A smart observation of what is really happening with Albert is a New League, New City, New Enviroment, Pregnant Wife whom is in another city, Kids are not around like before, hectic new schedule (trying to please everyone with his time both business and personal NEW) and General Anxeity of baseball performance.

None are direct health problems but do play an important part of who he is as a person.

When Albert can relax he will be hitting and hitting well! He showed signs of brilliance just a few weeks ago, his wife & kids were in town and so was his good friend Adam Dunn. This proves when he is relaxed he will hit. Remember when he is at Home (Anaheim) he is not really Home at all! YET!
