Hmmm I'm missing something here ... Lackey a SPOT STARTER/LONG RELIEVER????. If we could sign Lackey he would IMMEDIATELY and before the ink even started to dry on the contract replace that pie throwing fool as our #2 Starter. We are in serious need of pitching, then we need some pitching, and if we get some we need some more pitching. The three starter rotation for the playoffs seriously exposed the weak underbelly and that 3-4 adolescent the last two months of the season sure didn't impress anyone. Tell me I'm stupid all you want but you cannot refute or argue the fact that Burnett was a sorry mess and the 4 and 5 starters were always a who shows up this week what with the Joba rules and his shakey performance game to game.
