The Parade made me sad....

Although i was overwhelmed with emotion and on the verge of shedding tears of happiness...it made me think of the people that might be struggling to watch the parade...my list is below...feel free to add more....

Cindy - Arod's wife.. my heart goes out to her..i'm sure she wanted to share that moment after years of support
Joe Torre - i'm sure he still feels like the team and the city are still his baby...
Mike Mussina - Mike carried the pitching staff with consistency
Roger Clemmens - Im sure he's at home thinking..."we could have added another alleged steroid user to the long list and be the WS team with the most steroid accusations in history" -JK

And yeah..please check out my yankee 2009 tribute song..performed/sung/played by me.. add to your face books myspaces whatever..i was sad my song wasnt playing during the parade... thanks!! c-rok:-)

I have to admit I was thinking the same about Cynthia, though I think it was probably the best move for them both, going their separate ways. And for the first time since he's been a Yankee, ARod seems really, truly content and at peace; it's like a huge weight has been lifted off of his back.

As for Joe T, I might have felt that way had it not been for his book. I still don't understand his motivation for "spilling" so soon after leaving his supposed beloved Yankees, while still playing an active role in MLB. Very un-Joe like if you ask me. And besides, he already has a handful of rings to keep him company! lol Anyone else wonder what his reaction was to us winning this year? I haven't heard anything on the sports' shows regarding that. Did he call to congratulate Jetes, the "Core4?"

At first way back in April and May
The Red Sox with us had their way
All we could say to Red Sox Nation was
Wait till Arod's finished with his operation

One night in B'more, guy threw him a ball
I remember well that annoucers call
Way back back back's where the ball did fall
Arod hit that first pitch over a Baltimore wall

Then they had to pitch to Big Bad Tex
And he made those pitchers have regrets
But when New York saw his Golden Glove
With that dam boy they fell in love

Since he came here from Japan
That dam Godzilla's been the Man
And though New York is a foreign land
He won the last game single hand

CC brought his game to town
He's 10 feet tall and about as round
And like a pilot does in Aviation
He became the Ace of our rotation

Swisher hits some balls sky high
And many times Aj baked pie
While Melky roamed the center sky
Cano learned how to hit big flies

With Jorge , Mo, with Andy and Jeter
Who of course we know is our fearless leader
They said we have walked this road before
We all know these four are the Yankee core

And so it has come to this day
when once again right down Broadway
they're gonna have a big parade
because of the way the Yankees played

The final thing I'd like to say
Dear fellow Yankees if I may
Enjoy this latest golden ring
But when do the Yanks report for spring

I did wonder and I'm hoping as things settle down, we will see/hear some kind of accolades from him. Derek was very vocal about him on the Letterman interview and there is just NO way he hasn't called the fabby four to send them kudos.

This Parade belongs to the people who were instrumental in winning a WS this season.

Everyone on your list left willingly and Clemens is a disgrace. Why feel sad?
