We need to trade him.

yes, but isn't that the epitome of a #4 AL starter?

Yep, when you look at his 150 starts with the Sox, you see a +105 ERA, meaning he has been all of 5% better than average in the park/league he has pitched in. When guy has 150 starts of being so close to average, it seems odd that fans would be enraged when that pitcher isn't pitching consistently or like an all star.

This year is about winning a title right?

The way Floyd is pitching, we are not gonna win when he pitches.

I don't want to wait till next year.

well, if we win half the games, i don't necessarily agree. but danks would have to rebound back to what people expected before the season began.

How stupid not at all a valid comparison even being sarcastic. If Danks were healthy Floyd would have been in the bullpen long ago!!!!

It could be tough to trade the guy. Most teams aren't calling KW to trade for Floyd.

That's because the Sox can't provide any kind of run support for him.

Did I miss something? Since when is giving up 4 runs to the Yankees a "horrible" start? Especially considering he had nothing yesterday. In fact, what happened to loving grindy players? Wasn't his start yesterday the epitome of grindy?

Did anyone else notice that we scored only 2 runs? We lose that game unless Floyd holds one of the best offenses in baseball to 1 run.

You HAD to wake them (you know who's) up, didn't you? They were behaving so well lately. You KNOW that they love each and every Sox player so much. Before they're done with you, you'll beg the Sox to keep him. There's nothing wrong in Soxland. Floyd is S-O good!! Statements like these will keep them off of your back.

The white sox will have to pay someone to take Floyd. Not going to happen. Floyd will be a white sox for the remainder of 2012.

And?
Not the greatest, but surely isn't as terrible as some of you make him out to be.
I didn't realize we were expecting him to be a #1 or a #2.

There's little in between with Floyd. His outing before this one was one of those rare occurrences.
