Bush complained about not getting credit for his "booming" economy in 2007, completely oblivious that it was crashing around his head and that millions of Americans were in deep trouble. So great was the crash of Bush's "boom" that it made the Savings and Loan catastrophe look like a Girl Scout Cookie Sale. It took him eight years to bring the economy to the point of collapse; yet you jokers want to pitch hissy fits because Obama hasn't fixed it in ten whole months. Pathetic.

Not all Republicans are racists, but the Republican Party definitely is. The "one guy" was Kenneth Mehlman, former chair of the Republican National Committee. He apologized before the NAACP in the summer of 2005 for his party's use of race-based politics for partisan political gain.

It isn't like that fact hasn't been known since the inception of the Southern Strategy in the late 1960's. It wasn't just Mehlman and his opinion. It was, and is, a FACT well-known to most political observers and certainly within the black community. There has been a lot of documentation in the form of books and historical takes on the Nixon and Reagan years. Google the "Southern Strategy" and see what it gives you.
