Hello Natstown Citizens,

At 7:05 PM ET tonight at Nationals Park, Washington, D.C. a much discussed series wi8ll begin. The intrigue of this series was centered around the fact that Gorzelanny's name was penciled in lieu of Detwiler on most sites. With the day upon us, lo and behold, the rotation juggling by Davey now becomes evident to all we speculators. It would appear that Terry Collins is also gettin into the act.

Game 1- Jonathon Niese vs Ross Detwiler
Game 2- Chris Young vs Jordan Zimmerman
Game 3- R.A. Dickey vs Gio Gonzalez

The Nationals begin a key 10-game stretch against their two closest pursuers in the division Tuesday night when they host the sliding Mets in the opener of a three-game set. Washington is hoping to create some separation. After this series, the Nationals play a four-game home set against the Braves before visiting the Mets for three more meetings.

That stated, since our boys appear to be following the scenario of the proposition, which I proposed in the Nats @ Fish thread yesterday. As I said in me conjured proposition;"the Mets series now becomes one that we must win, period! My Slant !

PS Edit: The morning line is set at even-6 and the GS have this contest scored at 51% to 49%, Nats.

GO NATS !!!

I'm going tomorrow and internally debating whether to go tonight.

Perhaps if it was a bit warmer I may go down

Hya angelo, ya typed;"Good Ross or bad Ross tonight???????????????????????"

Honest injun buddy, after watching our boys go to extremes last night in order to lose to the Fish. I have no idea if the entire Club will show up, much less Ross Detwiler.

All bets are off on this game and the series for that matter until I see proof that the real Nats are taking the field and playing like they are capable.

GO NATS !!! SHOW ME !!!

Hya 416, Thanks for the Nats Cast...

Indeed, the outlook for the near future includes heat and more heat through 9 PM Wednesday night.

So what's the story behind your avatar? I really like it. Home made?

>>"Good Ross or bad Ross tonight???????????????????????"

His last start was 12 days ago, so in his first game action in that long, it's anybody's guess. We all saw what the same-length break did to EJax last night. He took the high-road and wouldn't use it as an excuse, while admitting that he had no feel for (and hence no control of) his pitches.

Niese is pitching for the first time in 9 days, so hopefully he has no feel either. Let's get to him early.

Ever since the Colorado series they seem to be playing to lose. They have lost their king of the hill swagger

dt, ya typed;"So what's the story behind your avatar? I really like it. Home made?"

ROTFLMAO! dt, I don't know whom is more curious, you or Montco.

Me Mother was an English Lit by education and profession. Thus she kept an extensive library at home. Some in her collection were of the adventure, mystery and intrigue variety which she would select from and read to we kids. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's " Sherlock Holmes " series, Earl Derr Biggers " Charlie Chan " series etc.

I've been fasinated with the catagories ever since...Who woulda thunk it my friend? ;~)

5. Adam LaRoche, 1B
6. Danny Espinosa, SS
7. Roger Bernadina, CF
8. Jhonatan Solano, C

Mets have been horrible against lefties this year. I think we could get 2 out of 3 or even a sweep, considering their recent slumps.

Really starting to like how Ross is coming around. Seems like he's a bit a late bloomer.
