Already a move to kickoff the off season but not a major deal, I think its better for the WSox though.

Getz was a light hitting 2b... basically an Alexi Casilla clone but can play a full season.

The royals keep on trading people within the division... especially to the white sox, wonder what's up with that. Most teams avoid such practices

Very good trade for the Sox. Teahen can fill a couple positions if need be, but he most likely will take Dye's spot in right, and he will give the team a very consistent approach and will do well in the 6th or 7th spot in that lineup.

Maybe Getz will help the Royals, who already have Callaspo, and Gordon, so not sure where he or Fields really fit into their plans. For the Royals, another real confusing trade for me.

Unless they are looking to trade Callaspo maybe banking on him having a career year and putting Fields in right/left, this trade is really confusing. They lost an average player that can play multiple positions - 2B, 3B, RF, LF, 1B all averagely and hits averagely, for an Alexi Casilla and a low OBP and Average guy, high power guy, pretty much a Mike Jacobs that can play 3rd, 1st, left, and right.

Maybe they see something in these guys and they become superstars, I dunno?

CF - David Dejesus
SS - Chris Getz
1B - Billy Butler
RF - Jose Guillen
DH - Kila Ka'aihue
LF - Josh Fields
2B - Alberto Callaspo
3B - Alex Gordon
C - Miguel Olivo

That's the way I see it maybe going down unless they pull another deal or two. This trade really doesn't hurt them but it really doesn't make them any better.

Yeah I keep noticing this! What's up w/ that?! That would be pretty taboo for the twins.
