With the Twins transitioning into Target field the upcoming year, the question that needs to be answered is: Where will they hold the Twinsfest event this upcoming year?

I can't imagine that they'll use Target Field in the middle of a cold January!

If anybody knows the location, please enlighten those of us who don't know... Thanks!

TwinsFest 2010 is scheduled to be held at the Metrodome.

The Minnesota Twins will kick off their 50th season of baseball in Minnesota with TwinsFest 2010 on Friday Jan., 29 to Sunday Jan., 31 at the Metrodome. TwinsFest 2010 will include three days of interactive games, memorabilia sales and autograph opportunities featuring more than 40 current and former Twins players.

The Metrodome will once again host TwinsFest before the Twins begin their inaugural season at Target Field in April. Event highlights include a Target Field display, National Anthem tryouts, the largest baseball card and collectibles extravaganza in the Upper Midwest, kids-only player Q & A sessions, player photo stations, a baseball skills area, youth baseball clinics as well as live and silent auctions.

TwinsFest is an annual fundraiser for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund, a nonprofit organization working to support and improve youth baseball and softball in the Upper Midwest. Since its inception in 1989, Twinsfest has raised more than $4 million for programs and organizations supported by the Twins Community Fund.

As far as players, nothing will be announced til probably January.

You can expect 90%+ of the current Twins. As far as former players, Hrbek usually shows up Friday night only. Carew, Killer & Tony-O will probably be there. That's all speculation on the past.

I made the realization that I asked the question too soon, just after I initially posted the question to you.

Hopefully, we'll see all the players that were spotlighted in that new target field commercial! The one where they're un-packing the players from boxes... LoL!!

Gotta love those humerous spins on the beginning of Target field life...

The list of Twins past, present and future players to appear at the 2010 Twinsfest will not be made public until a few weeks before the weekend of Twinsfest.
