He has been released by the Giants, and Noah Lowry is very interesting if you ask me. Three years removed from a solid 14-6 record with a sub-four ERA. I understand the injuries for the past seasons, but any chance the Twins pull out a spring training contract with this kid and see if they can start a fire under this guy? He is pitching every three days, and he supposedly is one of the best people in the game (not that means he is still a good pitcher), but it would be interesting to see if he has anything left.
He would be 29 years old now, and that does scare me. Just something to think about. I definitely would not lose sleep if Smitty didn't pull the trigger on this one.
