Seems like most of the interest has waned due to the length of time it took to reach an agreement. I like hockey. Not sure if I'll get too excited about it now, though.

Will be interesting to see what the average attendance levels fall to for the rest of the regular season due to fan anger/apathy.

Teams in the south will take a nice hit in attendance I bet.

One more work stoppage and I won't be surprised if the NHL folds.

Then who will pay child support for those thousands of illegitimate kids? Plus the strip clubs and bling stores and manufacturers of tasteless suits going out of business will destroy any hope of an economic recovery.

They don't as it is.

Just think though, if there's no NBA, these wonderful, wholesome players won't have a kid in every city he goes to for a basketball game.

Sacrifices will have to be made.....Some don't pay child support now, let alone if/when the league folded.....

Plus, I think some of the latin players will cover the rest....

lots of damage done to hockey over labor relations. the only good thing to come out of this mess is a ten year agreement.

bettman ruled the NBA and now hockey - what's next? commissioner of baseball?

I hope nobody shows up for the games.
I hope nobody watches NHL on TV
I hope nobody listens to games on the radio.
I hope the sport just goes away forever.
