Hear hear.
Time to put the bombers out of their misery early this year. Reading their board half of the members are on suicide watch already so the cats could wreak some serious havoc with another win tonite. The panic button has been molested to no end on the Yanks MB which is quite funny to witness.

Watched them in ST.

Thought that their lineup was a little old and they might fade some in August. 6-12 in their last 18.

Didn't realize they would have such a large lead, so it has not caused them divisional trouble yet.

I think that they will regroup and end pretty strong.

With Grandy at .240 and Martin at .198 and a lot of guys around .250, right now they kind of just have Jeter and Cano , although Chavez is having a good series against us. They are built to be a Yankee stadium HR team and that does not work so well in Comerica.

Hope they wait until they leave town to regroup.

<Chavez is having a good series against us. >

Chavez is quietly having a pretty good season. I remember before we signed Fielder and moved Cabby to 3B, I suggested we offer Chavez a deal to bolster offense at 3B.

It looks like the injury woes that plagued him for the last five years may finally be gone.

You've got a nice streak going, with help from the Worthless Big Fig! What a bum!

You were going to replace my boy Brandon ( got his average way up to .216) with that bum?

Heavens, you wil never be forgiven.

What is the scoop on Scherzer, rumors are he is not pitching tomorrow. I have not seen anything on that.

<tomorrow>
Won't need anybody. That game (by the looks of the weather channel) is going to wash out.

Why would he pitch tomorrow??

Fister has been slated to start there all along.

Scherzer pitched the last game in the Cleveland series.

He's getting the first game of the Rangers series.

I'm expecting that we will give back the game we gained yesterday. We are facing Sabathia, and the White Sox got that Quintana kid pitching.

I agree they'll try
Supposed to start raining at noon tomorrow, and get worse all day. All night long

Going to end up being one of those 6 inning games maybe, if they play at all

Just looked up the common off day. Only one, Monday Sept 17th

We'll be flying in from Cleveland. That would be the first game of an 11 game home-stand.

Yankees in the middle of a home-stand. Would have to fly here Sunday nite after an afternoon game against the Rays, play us Monday, then fly back to NY for a game Tuesday nite Vs. the Blue Jays.

If they were to rain it out, and make it up that day, then that will make the Tigers last off day would be Sept 6th. (for we have a R/O make-up with the Royals on the 24th)

28 games to close the season, without a day off.

Yankees have lost 12 of last 18 games. We need to try and get CC early.

yep

They are looking for a stopper tonight.

We should get CC's best, doesn't bode well for us.

Regarding tomorrows weather the computer models kick out 1-2 inches of rain for the area. Been consistent for days on this much rain. If this verifies no way they play. Would be the biggest area wide rain in months and many areas need it.
