You are so right! Just look at the facts! Prior to Leyland becoming the manager in 2006, the Tigers had 12, count em, 12, losing seasons in a row! Leyland comes aboard in 2006 and screws everything up by taking the Tigers to the World series. The first world series appearence since 1984. Then as if that wasn't bad enough, he manages the Tigers to winning seasons in 5 of his 6 years here with another playoff appearence last year and the ALCS. What a loser! This guy has managed Tiger teams that win more than they lose, have playoffs hopes late into the season year after year and has the balls to take the Tigers from losers with no hope of postseason to being in contention year after year. My god, he should be fired right now! How can we allow him to give us hope for a World Championship? We should go back to the good old days of great 1990's early 2000 tiger baseball! Leyland has been a cancer to this team! Please, let's fire Leyland so I can get better seats to the games again! I love an empty Comerica Park with a losing team with no hope and empty seats to grab for a better view! You are so right about him losing this team and the history supports it! LOL!

Lets be honest, the teams that we had the 12 years prior to Leylands arrival were not close to playoff teams. The teams he has had since he came here are SUPPOSED to make the playoffs. Especially in this division, so save the playoff stuff. We also in his tenure have finished last in this division. He managed us out of the playoffs in '09. How do you lose a 3 game lead with 4 to play? You start guys in game 161 who have no MLB experience among other things. Leyland has not done a great job since he's been here. I would submit his teams, by and large, have underachieved and accomplished about as little as they could as compared to their expectations and talent level.
