The Phillies have the advantage in the pitching matchup tomorrow, so there's a very good chance that this goes to a seventh game. If Hamels pitches that one for the Phillies against Sabathia, that's a big edge for the Yankees, as Hamels had a bad year and has been pretty brutal in the postseason. But hey, if you get to Game Seven, anything can happen. And in that situation, all of the pitchers will be on very short leashes.

Hamels is not mentally tough...
They may want to think about a different pitcher for game 7.

all the Yankee pitchers are going on 3 days rest... and that is a big factor.

Look at the stats, 3 days rest vs. full rest 12-37

Yankees are primed to end this series Wednesday night at home and win it in six games.

"Hamels is not mentally tough..."

No kidding. You see how he keeps letting that guy in the white sox and sandals come out to the mound to tell him to keep pounding the corners and to get the batter to chase one outside? It's like he's never seen him before. And why are they always playing in Dodger Stadium? I thought the World Series was being played in New York and Philadelphia?

What Hamels said about wishing it "was over" is unexcusable. If I was Charlie Manual I would demand a satisfactory explanation, or I would sit him for the rest of the series. Pitch Happ.

Exactly...
Not so sure I would have any faith at all in him if there is a game 7.

I don't think Hamels has that mentally tough aspect down, but more of he has been in a lull all year. I don't see that changing during this time either.

Yankees bring home #27 Wednesday night.

could be.

If they don't they can blame it on poor managing.

Record on 3 days rest in the playoffs vs full rest, 12-37

Yanks did pretty good with their starters going on 3.

ALDS: 2-0 \ 1 ND. 1 BP W.

ALCS: 3-0 \ 3 ND. 1 BP W. 2 BP L.

WS: 3-2 \ 1 ND. 1 BP W. 0 BP L.

8-2 w/5 ND. Think I got the figures right. If not someone will be sure to let me know. lol.

Not too shabby and the BP didn't screw up too bad in the Series.

Although was rooting for the Phillies gotta give the Yank's credit. Did I just say that? OMG!

Redemption: Over 2 billion $$$ between last WS.
