I can say with some pride that I have never tried it myself, but I've known so many otherwise solid citizens who have (either simply experimenting or involved in really serious research LOL) that I just can't knock anyone who tries it. Most of them weren't "long haired hippies" either. Studies show that about half of the American population has at least tried it, and I suspect that the percentage of MLB players at least reflects or probably surpasses the general population. So my guess is that if we want to single out Lincecum for this particular indiscretion, we are going to have to get upset with a lot of guys in the Rockies lockerroom as well.
