I watched a program on ESPN yesterday about 'clutch" performers.
The Rox were voted clutch team of the year.

Not sure if anyone has ever used this site but, www.fangraphs.com, is a pretty interesting website that uses advanced baseball stats to calculate a players "clutch."

...and they give the Rox the 4th worst clutch rating in MLB with the bats, 14th best with the arms.

"clutch" is slippery

"clutch" is somewhat in the eye of the beholder, but it is interesting to see numbers to back it up.
