ok so I just found out Manny hit a HR last night, so maybe this post wasn't correct. i didn't see him hit it. but i did see him strike out once and then he got out again....

He's gotten 5 hits in 22 at bats. By my math he's hitting .227. He hit .308 in the NLDS and so far in the NLCS he's hitting a pathetic .111. Oh, and you forgot to mention he has 4 strikeouts in the playoffs so far this year...one less strikeout than he has hits.

As for the regular season: .355 in the first half, .255 in the second half. I think the OP was spot on. Manny just ain't Manny without the juice!

Don't get me wrong, I'll be more than happy when Manny is gone...I'd rather lose then have cheaters on my team, but if they cheat...they're cheaters...Giambi, Manny, Gagne, LoDuca, A-Rod, etc.

Well, you said he hasn't hit well since being off the juice and this is wrong on two levels. He hit well in the NLDS(at the time of this post). Manny also hit well the 1st half of the season when he wasn't on the juice, supposedly just on HCG...not "the juice." It's suspected he quit the juice in the off-season, meaning he wasn't on the juice early in the year when he was hitting well.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not fan of Manny, but when someone makes false claims I'm going to defend them...such as you did saying Manny hadn't hit well since being off the juice.

Get real! Whether or not he was actively on the juice at the beginning of the season is irrelevant. He was still benefitting from having had them in his system. Is it your claim that he took them in the offseason to help his backyard whiffle ball game?

Read my post. I said he hit .308 in the NLDS. But at the time of MY post, he wasn't hitting squat in the NLCS. As for the chant, it's funny how nobody actually at the game heard it, and no Rockies fans or Phillies fans who visited THIS board heard it.

The thing is .............Manny is getting paid like he's on the juice. His time has come and gone.
