If the Patriots play like tonight against the Ravens, the Patriots will lose by 14 points. I think that the Patriots won't underestimate the Ravens and will show up. I am still scared by the Patriots defense. I think the offense will do their job but how much more does Brady pick up the defense slack?

Gronk missed a lot of the season. I rather he was in, but we're still thick with receivers. Our Secondary is improved, but off and on. Our special teams looked questionable today. Big game coming up !!!

Gronk will be missed the most in short yardage situations, particularly in goal line situations inside the 5 where they bring the tight ends in. Gronk is an outstanding blocker.

I would not be surprised at all to see the Pats run the ball more on the Ravens than in the past against them.

Joe Flacco really plsayed well against the Broncos. If he plays like that, the Ravens will be tough to beat, as their quickness on defense, especially their ability putting pressure on Brady and msake him rush his passes poses problems for them. But the Pats running game is better this year, and I look for BB to maybe cross up the Ravens and try and use their versatile and talented backs more in this game. Ray Rice is no Adrian Foster, but he can be dangerous.

Ravens 28 Pats 24. Flacco might be the most improved QB in the NFL this year and very unheralded... and his contract is up after this year.

Whoa... I don't get that spread at all. I think I 'll look into that and take some action on it. The Pats were 9.5-10 pt favorites over the Texans, and the Ravens right now have been playing a lot better the last few weeks than the Texans had. The Ravens have always given the Pats offense fits. That spread seems a bit high to me. I look for the smart money to jump in on this and it shoould bring this spread down .... By kickoff, my guess it'll be under 7-8.

Pats defense improved significantly over last season, running game much better.
Pats are way better team than last years Super Bowl runner up.

Good analysis. These Ravens were undetected at the end of the regular season and fooled everyone in the postseason. Indy (11-5), Denver (13-3).

The Pats need to start the game in full on no huddle hurry up offense...

Playing a tough 5 quarters at altitude will take some out of them, so the pats need to wear them down early.
