Who did I miss over the last 20 to 25 years or so...alot of these folks were VERY HIGHLY thought of. Also who on the current team and current talked about prospects could make this team in a year or 2? There out there all the time...Some did have some major league success but not near what was expected. Do Stubbs and Homer Bailey make this list if they flop this year?

LF Austin Kearns
CF Mike Kelly
RF Van Snider
3B Brandon Larson
SS Gookie Dawkins
2B Jeff Branson
1B Tim Costo
C Dave Van Gorder

SP Jack Armstrong
SP Brandon Claussen
SP Luke Hudson
SP Brian Reith
SP Rob Bell

RP Ryan Wagner
RP Johnny Ruffin

Scott Scudder, Pat Pacillo, Alan Knicely, and Paul Householder come to mind although Knicely and Householder are more like 30 years ago.

We had a long run of busted first and second round draft picks. I can't bare to look at it or I'd post some of them. The recent drafts are on this site if anyone wants to grab some names. I don't feel like puking just this minute or I'd do it.

I think Ken Griffey, Jr. should head the list.

Overall, I like it. But there wasn't high hopes for some of those guys. I probably wouldn't have included Kearns either but I like it.

Ok, fair enough..

I hate Dusty, the only person to wear a Red uniform that I have hated.

Although Corey Patterson ranks up there.

Who was that college quarterback we got from the Yankees? A 3B. He could make two teams' lists.

Dude Erik Owens was a monster!!!! Nah, I grew up in Ferrum where he went to college and when

I was like 10 he gave my whole family tickets behind homeplate and passes to take the family

elevator. I got to meet Reggie and Deon Sanders, Barry Larkin, and Eddie Taubensee, plus Jeff Kent

from the Giants. For that he'll always be my favorite Red not named Pete.
