In chiming in the other day about his point of view on an expanded use of instant replay, Selig said no way and then expounded thusly -

"I think my position has been clear. This is a game of pace."

Yeah on Mike and Mike in the morning I forget who said it but they were about about Bud's desire not to expand because of the pace of the game. Whoever it was said if Selig is so concerned about the pace of the game the managers shouldnt be allowed to argue, batters shouldnt be allowed to step out of the box and adjust their gloves, grab themselves and adjust, and such. Pitchers shouldnt be allowed to step off the mound. All of this shouldnt be allowed if Bud is so concerned about the pace of the game.

Personally, I was totally done with Selig when he appeared in front of congress and played stupid in regards to steroids in the ML's.........

I think he's pathetic and his performance was just as embarrassing as Sosa suddenly forgetting how to speak English, Palmero point his finger and stating "NEVER", and that complete FOOL Clemens who I'm not even going to give another word to except for one............"MISREMEBER"

Bud is not a comedian... he is the owners puppet. IMO....No backbone, no guts, no love for the game.

It is a real shame to say this, but I've not watch 1 inning of the playoffs or World Series. The reason is simple... I don't want to get involved in the game and end up watching it till the end and then having to go to work early the next morning.

WHY DON'T THEY PLAY A DAY GAME ON THE WEEKENDS? If baseball is America's game, then NCAA football and the NFL will not hurt their ratings. But, is it still America's game....

I am extremely gratified that you are consistently using proper words such as PATHETIC and EMBARRASSING in your posts on this Reds board.

My only bark would be that you don't seem to use HORRID as the triplicate. It's a very important adjective insofar as describing year-end, year-out mediocrity that we know as Reds' baseball.

JC.....keep up the good work, but please make "horrid" all inclusive to your vocab and posts.
