I think joe and the organization have lost it. I'm a ray fan and bigger fan of maddon, but some of the things he said about Johnson were like a hurt child. Now these uniforms ???? Just shut up and play the game.

For one throwback game and the fact they will be auctioned off for charity, I can deal with it.

Except for the beltless waistband, they nailed the 70's look perfectly!

By the way, Johnson's comments about Maddon were very childish and stupid.

I said over on the other message board, also, that it is a total rip-off of the 1978 Padres uniforms. The same exact lettering and style with the "Tampa Bay" written over the top of the team name just like "San Diego" was.

No big deal, they'll wear them for one game, then they will be auctioned off for charity and I will put in my bid for one and don't care who's name is on the back, I just want another piece of Rays history. I have Steve Cox #28 uni from 2001 and the Dan Wheeler #35 uni from 2008, missed out on the charity auction when they had the green ones, but still searching
