Ahh, the Yankees payroll again. Why weren't you guys talking about the Yankees payroll last year?
Any team can beat any team in a short series. You should know this because the Rays beat the 139 mill Red Sox last year. Look at the Mets.. they have had the highest payroll in the NL since 2002 and have only made the playoffs once.

WOW... I can't believe they deleted my post on this Thread...I guess you can't congratulate anyone or say nice things about the Yankees...LOL...Or it must of been my Pud Selig comments..LOL ..In anycase the Yankees played together and won as a team..Maybe a lot of money got spent more than anyother team could afford too... But thats Yankee Baseball..If you can't beat them...Buy them...Its easier to get players with a HOw Much? sign here attitude..Giradi did a great Job keeping this team together like it or not...I wish George owned the Rays...
