For those of you who are into prospect rankings, let's see your top 15(not much to talk about on this board lately) and then we can compare into the Jamey's, Joey's etc.

Mine?

1. Feliz-we all know him
2. Scheppers-being compared to Justin Verlander
3. Perez-18 year old in AA is unreal
4. Smoak-the patient hitter the Rangers need
5. Guttierez-looking good in AFL
6. Font-good year, could be in top 25 in all of baseball this time next season
7. Ross-great all around year
8. Main-now healthy, could breakout next season
9. Moreland-underrated hitter
10. Kiker-could be another CJ Wilson
11. Max-could be the big RH bat the Rangers need
12. Beaven-doesn't have a high ceiling but is a safe bet to be a reliable #4
13. Boscan-similar to Beaven
14. Poveda-solid year but needs to make something happen
15. Beltre-put here purely based on potential

HM- Mendoca, Weiland, Erlin, Tullis

I understand that Neftali has prospect status as far as the rankings go, but I think since he's part of the 25 man roster now you should make your list without including him. It's all for fun anyway, right?

The prospect depth of the Rangers is crazy. It's so nice not to see players like Jason Botts and Luis Mendoza on the Rangers prospect lists.

Yes it is great knowing we have some listed 4-10 who would be hands down #1 in some organizations.

It's definitely a luxury that is new and exciting. Really, I was looking over everyone's lists and there aren't any guys who I wouldn't moan about giving up in a trade. That's awesome.

The guy I think is kind of a sleeper, even as a 5 on mine, 8 on yours, and 6 on MYoungs, is Wilmer Font. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Font moves into the range of a top 10 m.l. prospect next year. He's in that 4-10 range right now, but I think he's about to take off big time.

Very true, he and Michael Main are my picks to breakout next season.

It's so nice that when you have guys like Borbon, Andrus, Holland, and soon to be Feliz gradute your system BUT YET you still have a top notch system.

Yes, not even close imo. I wasn't that high on Ross when he was drafted, but I think he has a chance to be a quality (if not dominant) starter, I'm not quite sold on Kiker doing that. I hope he does, but he may be best suited as a reliever.

Do you see Kiker as a starter or reliever?

I think Robbie Ross could turn into Scott Kazmir.

Kasey Kiker seems like a Glen Perkins as a starter but could be Billy Wagner as a reliever.

I think they'd like to let him start initially, but how well he controls his stuff will depend on his role going forward. My guess is that the team puts him wherever there is less depth on the big club, right now it'd be the pen, when he's called up. I also think he's underrated as a prospect because of the sick depth in the system, if he can finally harness his control, look out. He gets lost in the system, but he's a first round pick who just started the AA all star as a 21 year old, people shouldn't sale him short (pun intended).

I still think Ross is better though.

At the rate the Rangers are picking up good pitching prospects Michael Main might just start thinking about returning to an outfielder.

That is a definite area of weakness for the team. I hope Main ends up having some kind of impact with the organization, it seems like he has had nothing but great things said about him, but he can't stay on the field. It'd be a shame to see him fall off the map, he needs a rebound year bad.

It was only one year. Geez. People are so ready to dump anyone under the bus that doesn't tickle their toowies on a daily basis.

Where did I or anyone "dump him under the bus because he didn't tickle their toowies"?

Main was drafted in 2007, suffered nagging injuries in 2008 and a season crippling viral infection in 2009. The former first rounder has logged 58 innings in three years of pro ball. That's Brandon McCarthy type durability. As far as interpreting someone saying he needs a rebound year, fact, or someone is throwing him under the bus, opinion, is just poor interpretation on your part.

But...didn't you like the word "toowies?" Pretty cute, huh?
