I agree. Ethier was great and so was Werth.

Werth has 36 dingers with 99 Rbis, and an impressive .509 slugging.
Ethier had 31 dingers with 106 Rbis, and an impressive .508 slugging.

Could have gone either way, tho. I like Ethier and Kemp and they both deserve it...I don't want to take away from them, but Werth may have just beat out Ethier in my eyes.

Could you imagine an OF of Werth, Ethier, and Kemp (which they could've had)?

Well, Ethier did have more hits, doubles, triples, rbis, batting avg and only 5 less hrs. Their seasons were very close.

One thing I don't fly with is hitting great at home and being non existent on the road or really not even close to as good. Either hit .307 at home and .238 on the road. 1.103 OPS at home and .703 on the road. Catch my drift? Werth's home and away splits were really good and balanced.

yeah, if Werth doesn't hit behind Howard, he has a chance for about 100 more RBIs....but he hits behind the RBI king. not his fault. like I said, it could've been any combination. I think Werth should be there, but it's not a rip that Ethier is.
