This is a rematch of the 1950 WS, the Yankees won.

I believe that the Phillies are the better team but rgw oficiating will favor and give the series to the cheaters, er I mean the yankees.

Did the Yankees beat the Angels or did the Angels beat themselves? I thought the Angels made enough errors that they should be investigated by the FBI. I have not seen such blatant poor throwing errors in a long time.
So, the Yankees just played better defense. The Angels had great opportunities to beat the Yanks.
I think based upon what we saw in that series, The Phillies will jump all over the Yankees in 5 games. Limit the bases loaded walks, the full counts, the 5 pitchers in one inning, the poor throws, the baserunning errors, and its already over, Phillies win.

I hust can't help being cynical sbout the yankees, despite the error by the Anhels and the chamges to the umpiring crews.

I have not watched a WS for such a long time. I felt very detached from all the teams that have participated over the years: The Red Sox, ****ing Rockies, ****ing Cardinals, the Yankees, the Phillies, the Tigers, etc. The only team I kind of rooted for were the Rays. They, too, ended up disappointing me. This WS strikes again; I feel no excitement. I hate both, the Phillies and the Yankees.

I think the Phils pitching is going to have a hard time against the Yankees. The Yankees are by far the best offense against left handed pitchers on top of being the best offense in baseball. If the Phils plan on going Lee, Hamels, and Happ I think there going to be in trouble. One thing for sure is this is going to be an exciting series. The best offensive team in the AL vs. the best offensive team in the NL.

YANKEES, in 6, maybe 5....CC wins, game 1...Hamel gets stomped...Pedro is yanked in the 4th inning of his start and the Philly bullpen shows their REAL colors. And it aint red. Its more like "doo doo brown". And Im gonna call it here and now. Jeter, wins MVP honors for the Series.

A-Rod's been gettin all the press..and it seems like everybody has forgotten that if a team is gonna beat the Yanks, they're gonna have to go thru Jeter to do it. Mr October, aint been to the WS since when?...he will decide this series more than we think. The Phillies have a great lineup but they've beat up on some pretty average NL clubs compared to what the AL brings to the table.

On the other hand, if the Yanks lose, the guilty parties suspects will be, Burnett, Gaudin, maybe Hughes, Cabrera, Swisher and believe it or not, Posada (who's been lookin a bit shakey lately).

I kind of started off the post season thinking that a Yankees- Dodgers WS would be fun just because of the history

Then I was kind of rooting for a Dodgers - Angels WS, But I couldn't get too excited about it since I am not a Dodger fan and although I try hard to be an Angels fan I just can't get all the way there

I like this match up the best because I think either team can win... and would love to see this one go back and forth to a game 7.. and then have game 7 come down to the last inning...

For some reason I have never liked any Philly sports team so I don't know if I can root for them... even though they are the NL team....I do like some of their players though... even had one or two on my fantasy team.. (Hamels and Werth)

I think I will be rooting for the Yanks and yeah I know they go against almost everything I like in baseball... but I love Jeter and liked A-rod until we found out he cheated... but I am kind of forgiving him... well a little... I like Teixeira and I like Mariano Rivera so I think I have to go with them

Yanks in 6

Like I posted before, this is a rematch from 1950; onofense both teams are the best in their leagues, the Yankees have better pitching, but I will still root for the Phillies for these reasons, they are the NL team, I wish that in this century a NL team gets 2 WS Titles and not just the AL, and it's been more than 30 years since the last NL Team to win the Series back-to-back(Reds in '75-76) and because I don't want the Yankees to win.

Phillies in 7' mostly by hearth than brain.
