I haven't posted here in years...things are quite different from the old structure!!!

who is still around from the old days? i recognise a few users: star man, psueodolatina (sp) but not many. remember the giant "official off topic thread" and the brob/gibbons obsession threads? this used to be a pretty tightly knit group! nothing beats good old "the troll destroyer" and cider jim's constant bj surhoff praise! haha

i know there are a bunch over on bop, but where are the rest of you?

I guess you could call us the long haulers. Nice to see that you're still kicking. Welcome back.

How old are the old days?

I've been around long enough to recognize cider jim's name.

Not sure what you mean by your reference to "bop." I remember a song called "You Can't Do the Bop in the Sack," (now if THAT doesn't qualify me as an old timer, nothing will) but that probably isn't what you're talking about.

There use to be an Oriole site called the Birds of Prey. It's now called "The Birds of Prey II" aka BOP.

I've been on here since this message board started. I've just had many screen names over the years. Sorry, I don't remember you.

I've had so many screen names. I've probably had my current one the longest. My real name is James. I'd prefer not to say my last name but I will if you still don't know who I am. Do you remember me? I used to cause trouble on the Red Sox, Nationals, and Yankees boards a long time ago. Remember I'm the one with the Orioles fan site? www.orioles.co.nr

I've been here since like 2001 or 2002. I hated the new format at first but I'm used to it now. I used to spend all day on message boards. Then I got a life. lol

Yeah, you were semejamarc or something like that. I used to click on your website once in a while but you disappeared and I had no record of it.

I noticed that on your website you have a weekly trivia question. Last weeks question you posted your answer as being F Robinson and B Anderson. The one you didn't mention that mostly caught my attention was Don Baylor.

Your question

"Which two former Orioles are among the top-20 MLB career hit-by-pitch (HBP) leaders?"

Your answer

"Frank Robinson (8th, 198 HBP), and Brady Anderson (17th, 154)"

I'd like to add that in addition to those two, other former Orioles in the all time top-20 MLB career (HBP) leaders would be.

Hughie Jennings at #1 1893 to 1899.

Tommy Tucker at #3 1887 to 1889.

Don Baylor at #4 1970 to 1975.

Dan McGann at #7 1898 and 1902.

Curt Welch at #12 1890 to 1892

At least I think that's correct.

I should've included Don Baylor, you're right. I'll change that. I don't include St. Louis Browns or Milwaukee Brewers (1901) players.

Every player I listed came up as being Baltimore Orioles players though. But yeah, they were a long time ago.

"semejamarc"

"semajmarc" = James Cram - LOL

Got give the guy credit. He's really matured a lot. Marines must have straightened him out some.

Remember Hal from back in the day? I still think of him every time I see Kendry Morales playing. He'd always talk about the up and comers while ranting about how horrible the organization was. Lol
