    • When's the ticker tape parades usually?

Does anyone know what's the usual procedure for ticker tape parades? I think it's two days after the Series ends? If the Yankees were to win in 6, it would be Friday? And if this series goes 7 and the Yankees were to win Thursday night, does that mean it would be put off until Monday? They wouldn't have to travel but they wouldn't do it Friday, right?

Note: This series isn't over - especially with Pettitte going on 3 days rest - so don't think I'm saying the Yankees have this easy. I'm just trying to plan in case there is one because I need to figure out if I can even go if there's one because my school might give me a hard time, and depending on what day it's on makes a big difference...plus me and my friends would have to work out the logistics and they would be different for different days. So don't think I'm proclaiming the Yankees will win lol, I'm just trying to have a plan ready in case it happens.

i would think Mon. I've been thinking the samething for the Phils what would happen. i actually wanted a game 6 because the way I calculated had the Phils swepted at home they'd be having a parade tomorrow and I was told I couldn't call out of work or risk punishment.

Maybe you didn't read the 2nd paragraph I wrote...

I have to have some sort of a plan here, I can't just wait until the last minute. And there's certain days I wouldn't even be able to go. No one's won anything yet, but there's nothing wrong with me and my friends trying to have a plan ready in case.
