What the h.e.l.l. happened to these two in the series? I understand the lefties pounding Howard with off speed junk, but this wasn't supposed to happen to Tex. Did the spirit of A-Roid past take over both of them?

You do realize the same can be said about Teixeira right?

Teix is trying to hit a HR every Swing thats why. Before the playoffs started he said he wanted to do more then just hit Singles like he did with the Angels in last years ALDS. And as you can see he isn't hitting anything and trying to go for the fences every at bat
